From a small Sino-US partnership to one of Asia's most trusted names in hospitality furniture — Tradewinds has been building spaces that endure since 1993.
Tradewinds is the marine and export arm of Guangdong Xinjia Home Group, whose origins go back to the Jintai Woodworking Factory founded in 1993. Since 2007 the group has been a designated strategic furniture supplier to a major international theme-park resort, and has furnished properties for Four Seasons, MUJI Hotel, and OCT.
Three business lines — international export, domestic retail franchise, and global project customisation — are backed by one manufacturing base in Foshan. We build loose furniture to US production processes with international safety certification; fixed furniture on Taiwanese and German equipment using European-standard low-emission boards; upholstery developed under the guidance of the century-old American sofa maker Wood Mark; forged and cast metalwork from 18 years of OEM ironwork; and outdoor furniture in UV-, mould- and corrosion-resistant materials.
Our furniture is installed on ocean cruise ships and large ro-pax ferries worldwide, and we provide refurbishment and shipyard on-site installation for international cruise operators. One team, one standard, from brief to installation.
Start a ConversationWe understand the demands of the sea. Every marine piece we produce meets IMO and SOLAS certification requirements — fire-retardant, moisture-resistant, built to last the lifetime of the vessel.
We source only certified materials and apply rigorous quality control at every stage of production. No shortcuts. No compromises. Every piece that leaves our factory reflects the standard we've maintained for 30 years.
From initial space planning to final installation and after-sales care, we are your single point of contact. Our clients don't manage multiple vendors — they work with Tradewinds.
Decades of relationships with ship-owners, international shipyards, hotel groups, and interior designers mean we bring the right people together for every project, regardless of scale or geography.
We measure success not by production volume but by client satisfaction. Long-term relationships — many spanning decades — are the foundation our business is built on.
Our in-house design team works closely with clients to develop space configurations that are functional, beautiful, and aligned with the brand identity of every property we furnish.
